musical and lyrical thoughts while it was raining, but it is less about the rain than the metaphor of the rain as something that we both avoid and remain indoors during, possibly even sleep through as its sound is soothing, but also as something fresh, bewildering, uncomfortable and energizing that invites internal forces that make us leave the cave and better ourselves.
