crimson tempest raging, cramped abdomen, tomb of fear
child of womb and udder, sounds of gnarling steel veer near
eyes atremble, yearning, for sights that might calm and soothe
longings for a tribe that never found its stolen tooth

murders in the alley, stench of drink, hyena laughs
late-night party creatures, snoring loudly in the baths
anger, boredom, pining, lonely ghosts haunting the streets
under cover of the dark, when they should be under sheets

art will open up a door, you won't like what lies inside
it might scare you to the core, it might rip your body wide
roll your skull along the floor, then show you what it hides
