i want to tear down the wall like anyone who's had another fall
turn the face looking down into a farce even though you don't know him at all
i know there's lots of violence
and maddening conflict in the news
i'm the first to sit frozen in silence
in self-pitying blues
feeling special is mighty important but can go too far
because you're just a flame of a bigger burning life-giving star
anger can overpower
all that's great inside
blind you to a garden of flowers
that awaits outside
